2019 Valentine’s Day Celebration in Indonesia – Survey Report

Valentine’s Day in Indonesia is celebrated but also cursed at the same time as Indonesia is a multicultural country with people from different background and thinking pattern. Some groups may hold a campaign about anti-Valentine’s Day but some other groups make a totally different campaign, for example creating a Valentine’s Day special packaging product. But what do people really think and do about this celebration of love?
JAKPAT conducted a survey of 1004 respondents about 2019 Valentine’s Day. Apparently the comparison of people who celebrate and do not celebrate the day is nearly 50:50. Some people think that it doesn’t need a special day to show love, while some others once consider February 14th as a big day for them and their partner. Chocolate is also still a prominent gift for Valentine’s Day and the special packaging still attract buyers.
