According to the Southeast Asia Tobacco Control Alliance (SEATCA), Indonesia has the highest number of smokers in Southeast Asia which is 65,19 million people.¹ Riskedas’ data in 2018 even records that the number of smokers in Indonesia keeps increasing. There is 33,8 % the number of smokers above 15 years old, who’s 62,9% of them are men and 4,8% are women.²
JAKPAT conducted a survey towards more or less 2000 respondents to mapping out Indonesians smokers percentage, also done deeper research towards 1000 smokers about their habits.
