Wattpad is a community for readers and writers where one can discover new user-generated stories, spanning across different genres including classics, general fiction, historical fiction, non-fiction, poetry, spiritual, teen fiction among others.Wattpad is in a form of website and smartphone apps and currently is having more than 2 million writers around the world. In Indonesia, Wattpad has begun a cooperation with one of the biggest publishers, Bentang Pustaka, in creating some writing projects and competitions. As a growing and segmented platform, recently Jakpat has conducted a survey in order to do the mapping towards Indonesian Wattpad users, as well as the habit and preference at the surface level. This survey was conducted to 1269 respondents from across Indonesia who have heard or already known Wattpad.
