Indonesia’s gaming success is fueled by an extensive player base, which constitutes over half of the country’s population. Most Indonesian gamers prefer using mobile phones as their primary gaming device because of the convenience, affordability, and latest technology that guarantees a seamless gaming experience.

In response to this phenomenon, Jakpat aims to capture the habits and behaviors of Indonesian gamers, especially mobile gaming. This report is the first part of the Jakpat Gaming & Esports Report Series 2023. The other three topics are PC/laptop gaming, console gaming, and esports.

The results are based on a survey conducted on 10-12^th of July 2023.
