Welcoming Ramadan 2022 – JAKPAT Survey Report

Ramadan is just around the corner and it will be Indonesia’s 3rd Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr during Covid-19 pandemic. Two years in pandemic, people are already try to adapt with new normal, doing activities outside the house with health protocol. This is might also affecting this year Ramadan and Eid’s tradition or habit, compared to two previous Ramadan. Thus, JAKPAT tries to describe Muslim’s plan regarding the most awaited moment of the year to give insights about what’s going to happen in the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 2022.

JAKPAT TVC Review Ramadan 2020 Edition

Ramadan is a meaningful month for all Muslims in the world including in Indonesia where the majority of the population is Muslim. However, this time Ramadan feels very different from previous years with the existence of the Covid-19 pandemic which requires people to stay at home and cannot be free to keep in touch with others the way Ramadan should be. Adverts that are usually shown during Ramadan must also adjust to the current situation by adding messages related to COVID-19. Hence, JAKPAT conducted research on respondents’ assessment of TVC from several products that have special TVC made for Ramadan edition.

The assessed aspects include Ad awareness, Purchase Intention, Overall Liking, Uniqueness, Believability, Relevancy.

There are a total of 33 advertisements involved in this survey. Ranging from food/beverage product category to the e-commerce category.

JAKPAT Trend Track #8 ( 1st Week of Ramadan 2019) – Survey Report

The Trend-Track study by JAKPAT special Ramadan 2019 is initiated to capture what’s currently happening across media platforms on a weekly basis during Ramadan 2019.

This first week of 2019 Ramadan shows that national tv is no longer the main media that is accessed during suhoor and fast-breaking, Youtube offers a variety of alternative content. In addition, although it hasn’t shown prominent number of users, new media such as podcasts and video streaming services such as Netflix, HooQ, iFlix, and Viu also provide other alternatives to internet users.

In this Ramadan edition of the Trend Track survey, the main focus is on media consumption at suhoor and fast-breaking.
