In this modern days, it is super easy for people to get entertainment anytime, anywhere. Yes, simply open smartphone and various entertainment options available. Movies streaming apps, music streaming platforms, games, radio, online book, as well as social media which of course serve a role as entertainment source too.
However, users might not be settled with one app or platform for one type of entertainment. Users have a diverse taste which somehow couldn’t be accommodate by one platform. Thus, audiences tend to use more than one entertainment platform, especially platforms to stream movies and series.

Public Response Toward 2023 Recession – Jakpat x Continuum Data Report 2023

Welcoming 2023 might not be as exciting as years before. We usually welcome new year with joy and excitement, but this year worries and anxiety might follow, due to 2023 recession issue. Public have varied response toward this issue, some might feel worried while the others don’t, some might had started to be financially prepared and some others will just live as usual. However, it became a major topic to talk about both offline and online in the end of 2022. Thus, Jakpat is now collaborating with Continuum Data Indonesia to capture public response toward this 2023 global recession issue and how will they deal with it. We combined two research method, online survey to 1434 Jakpat respondents and big data analysis sourced from social media, Twitter. This report is available in Bahasa Indonesia.

Jakpat with Continuum Data and INDEF will also held a webinar to further discuss this report and will also talk about financial planning strategies amid economic uncertainty.

Sweet drinks have become a part of our daily consumption. In recent years, more and more cafes and beverages outlets available, which is quite convenient for people who doesn’t have the time to make the drinks at home. This condition created a trend in F&B business with what so called as “minuman kekinian” or later in this report we call it as trendy drinks. However, recently there was an incident involving one Indonesian trendy drink brand and a customer who posted a tweet related to a particular drink sold in this outlet, regarding its ingredients especially sugar content. It made daily sugar intake and sugar content in food and beverages became a widely discussed topic in the last few weeks. In this report, JAKPAT will present the survey result to 1209 respondents nationwide related to their sweet drinks consumption and their response to this viral tweet incidents.

Indonesia Social Media Trend 1st Semester of 2020 – JAKPAT Survey Report

Online activities during this pandemic continue to increase, as reported by JAKPAT on COVID-19 special report which states that consumption of online media such as streaming video and social media is increasing. Many people access social media either to spend their spare time or look for the latest information about Covid-19.

To understand social media usage trends in Indonesia within the1st semester of 2020, JAKPAT conducted a survey of 1,701 respondents nationwide, which aimed to determine social media awareness, usage, BUMO (Brand Used Most Often), and value. In addition, we also want to capture user habits on social media.

JAKPAT TVC Review Ramadan 2020 Edition

Ramadan is a meaningful month for all Muslims in the world including in Indonesia where the majority of the population is Muslim. However, this time Ramadan feels very different from previous years with the existence of the Covid-19 pandemic which requires people to stay at home and cannot be free to keep in touch with others the way Ramadan should be. Adverts that are usually shown during Ramadan must also adjust to the current situation by adding messages related to COVID-19. Hence, JAKPAT conducted research on respondents’ assessment of TVC from several products that have special TVC made for Ramadan edition.

The assessed aspects include Ad awareness, Purchase Intention, Overall Liking, Uniqueness, Believability, Relevancy.

There are a total of 33 advertisements involved in this survey. Ranging from food/beverage product category to the e-commerce category.
